Custom corrugated boxes are designed around the product they need to protect, present and transport. Unlike standard-size packaging, a custom box can be tailored to the exact dimensions, weight, shape and handling requirements of the contents, helping to improve protection while reducing unnecessary material and empty space.
At Pack & Roll, we design and manufacture custom corrugated packaging for industrial products, retail goods, e-commerce and a wide range of specialist applications. Since 1996, we have combined packaging design expertise with modern manufacturing technologies to create reliable solutions adapted to each customer’s requirements.
Packaging Designed Around Your Product
The right packaging begins with the product itself. Dimensions, weight, fragility, presentation, transport conditions and the way the package will be handled all influence the final construction.
Custom boxes may hold a single product or several items together as a complete sales or distribution unit. Where the packaging reaches the end customer or appears in a retail environment, visual appearance can be just as important as mechanical protection. This makes custom corrugated packaging suitable for applications where standard shipping boxes cannot provide the required fit, functionality or presentation.
Our design process can include structural development and prototype production before series manufacturing. A physical sample allows dimensions, folding, product fit and overall functionality to be checked before the final packaging enters production.
Custom Shapes and Die-Cut Packaging
Many custom packaging designs require more complex shapes than a conventional slotted box. Openings, locking tabs, handles, integrated lids, display features, internal supports and other structural elements can be produced using precision die-cutting.
In corrugated packaging production, die-cutting cuts and creases the board according to a specially designed cutting form, allowing accurate and repeatable production of sophisticated packaging structures. Flatbed die-cutting is particularly suitable for complex designs that require precise shaping.
Where an established construction already meets the requirements, the internationally recognised FEFCO system can also be used as a starting point. FEFCO assigns standard codes to common corrugated packaging designs, providing a clear reference between customer and manufacturer.
Printing and Premium Presentation
Custom boxes can also become an important part of product presentation and brand communication.
Depending on the required appearance and production method, graphics can be applied using flexographic printing or, for more detailed designs, printed sheets can be laminated onto corrugated board. This makes it possible to combine the structural advantages of corrugated packaging with high-quality graphics suitable for branded, retail and promotional packaging.
Printing can include logos, product information, handling instructions, barcodes and other identification elements. Corrugated packaging manufacturing can combine printing, die-cutting, folding and gluing according to the individual design and customer specification.
Efficient, Reliable and Tailored to Your Requirements
A well-designed custom box should use only as much material as necessary while providing appropriate protection throughout storage, handling and transport. A closer fit can reduce unused internal space, simplify packing and help make storage and logistics more efficient.
Corrugated packaging can be manufactured from different board constructions depending on the required strength and application. The selected material, box structure, printing method and finishing operations are therefore determined by the actual requirements of each project rather than by a single standard specification.
From Idea to Finished Custom Box
Pack & Roll supports custom packaging projects from the initial concept through structural design, prototype production and final manufacturing. Whether you already have a finished packaging specification or need help developing a new solution, our team can help turn your requirements into a practical, production-ready corrugated box.
Send us your product dimensions, required quantity and packaging requirements, and we will help you develop the right custom corrugated packaging solution.
